Quick & Easy Sangria
This super simple sangria screams "SUMMER" and "PARTY!" Sure, if you have the time you can use freshly squeezed citrus juices. But when time is tight you can still enjoy a darn good sangria with few ingredients and minimal effort using this recipe. Make up a pitcher for a crowd, or mix it up by the glassful to tailor it to each guest or to treat yourself.

- Pitcher
Ingredients
- 1 750 ml bottle Red wine (Such as a Merlot, Pinot Noir, or red table wine blend.)
- 1 1/2 cups Orange Juice
- 1 1/2 cups Lemonade Made with real lemon juice
- 1 cup Brandy
- Simple Syrup to taste
- Club Soda to taste
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, gently stir together the red wine, orange juice, lemonade, and brandy.
- Add simple syrup to sweeten to taste. Or sweeten each glass to taste on a per-person basis.
- Add club soda to the pitcher to taste, or add club soda to individual glasses.
- Optionally, add sliced oranges, lemons, limes, and/or strawberries to the pitcher.
- Chill the pitcher of sangria. If ingredients were cold to start with, this will take less time. Optionally, add ice to the pitcher or pour over ice in individual glasses.

- 1 quart saucepan
Ingredients
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Stir sugar and water together in saucepan.
- Heat the mixture to boiling, stirring so sugar dissolves. Boil 1 minute.
- Let the syrup cool before refrigerating in a sealed jar or bottle.
